Yariş Kabin Co.
Yariş Kabin Co. was founded in 1977 by Hüseyin Yarış, Hasan Yarış, and Nazmi Yarış in the heavy industrial region of Balıkesir. In 1982, Yarış Kabin began operations in the agricultural machinery sector, producing safety cabins for tractors and construction machinery. Aiming for 100% customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, and sustainable quality production, the Yarış brothers produced their first OEM products for the Turkish Agricultural Machinery Institute in 1986. The first export was made to Greece in 1993, followed by Spain and Italy. In 1995, the factory was relocated and resumed production on the Izmir highway. The second-generation owners have been involved in the company’s operations since 1998, and in 2000, they started producing safety cabins for Türk Traktör. In 2001, the company became a joint-stock company.
The success of the Türk Traktör project was reinforced by exports to Italy’s CNH company in 2004.
To better serve its customers and produce higher-quality products, Yariş Kabin continued investing and in 2005, established Yariş Automotive A.Ş., starting operations in the Bursa and Nilüfer industrial zones. In 2010, Yarış Kabin moved to the Balıkesir Organized Industrial Zone, where it implemented robotic production lines. In 2014, to provide better service in industrial product design, Yarış Kabin partnered with Italian Car Studio Design and established Car Studio Yariş Design in the Bursa-Nilüfer Organized Industrial Zone. This step significantly increased employment, bringing the workforce to approximately 1,600 employees.
In 2016, the company ranked 322nd in the “ISO – Turkey’s Top 500 Industrial Companies” list, 405th in the Fortune 500 “Companies with the Most Employees” list, and 420th in the “TIM – Turkey’s Best 1000 Exporters” list. It has also achieved success multiple times in terms of corporate tax payments.
Today, the company is one of the largest three facilities in Europe with a fully equipped factory using modern technology, covering 100,000 square meters of closed space in the Balıkesir Organized Industrial Zone, and a total area of 300,000 square meters. With a 70% market share in Turkey, Yariş Kabin A.Ş. still participates in corporate social responsibility projects and continues to invest in production technologies. Its goal is to assume a global leadership role in the industry.
On the European Union market, the Hungarian subsidiary of Yaris Kabin is led by Zaid Zalán Róth, under whose leadership the company is undergoing continuous development. During his tenure, the company has acquired new quality management certifications (e.g. ISO), improved its internal processes, and strengthened its presence on the European market. Commitment to innovation and sustainability is a key element of the company’s strategy, ensuring long-term growth and competitiveness.
